we done some math tests. We read a book about "Asha in the Attic". It was about a girl that got locked in her grandpa's attic and she was patient and brave.

First Days of School

This is Mrs. Bradley and we have started school. Thursday there were a few challenges. We had a very confusing lunch time. Friday seemed to go much better. We had no crying which was nice for everyone. Everyone has been able to make friends. We wrote poems about our new friends. We have explored our names and the names of others in our class. We have celebrated our first birthday. Happy Birthday Logan. Everybody is settling in to the routine of school. Thank goodness we have a weekend to get ready for next week. Expect homework and many more routines to start this next week. We are in PE first so come with proper footwear. Yeah! We will also start with students writing our blog next week. I am excited to try this. So bear with us.

A New Year

One of the things that the 2nd grade team has done is write a grant for computers.  In the world our children are growing up in, they need the skills of computer knowledge.  One thing that we will do is have a blogger for each week.  You can look on this site and see what is happening in our classroom.  

One thing that is very important for you to know is that this will be a self edited site.  What does that mean.  Students will be working in pairs and there will be typing errors.  The goal is to have less towards the end of the year.  This will be many students first efforts of typing on a computer. Be patient and learn to read "secondese".
